From Sailboats to Powerboats

Whether you’re looking for new boat cushions, canvas hatch & companionway covers, or just some fresh upholstery, TNT Marine Canvas & Upholstery can do it. We have been in the marine textiles industry for 25 years and there isn’t much we haven’t sewn re-covered, re-sewn or re-attached. We have been at our Texas Gulf Coast location for 9 years now, and serving the entire Clear Lake & Galveston Bay area for 14 years. Prior to making Texas our home base, Debbie Gentry, owner and designer, worked in the St. Augustine, Florida area honing her skills with canvas, creating dodgers, biminis, sail bags and various exterior marine projects. She worked on numerous celebrity boats along the East Coast offersing services on interior upholstery as well as exterior canvas. She has since navigated many adventures into the vast sea of boat aesthetics and now focuses many of her skills on interior upholstery work. TNT has completed outfitting for new Hatteras, Grand Banks, Carver, Sea Ray, Cris Craft and Bertram powerboats, Island Packet, Irwin, Catalina, Hunter and Morgan sailboats, and many others with cushions, rigging and canvas.

Friends of Deb

Having lived, sailed and worked on the Florida and Texas Gulf Coasts for many years and being the good-humored mariner that she is, Deb has made many friends in the marine textiles industry. She is a live-aboard with her husband, David Allen, owner of TNT Yacht Repair. Put these two together, they can handle about anything you may need from small runabouts to large cruisers. As a proud United States Coast Guard family, her oldest son is now a USCG Chief and her youngest son will be joining the US Coast Guard this year. Quite a family!

Got Rotten Wood? We Can Fix It!

Below are before and after images of some of our work. This seat had extremely rotted wood and old cracked vinyl. We reinforced the seat with stainless steel L-brackets and designed fitted, comfortable cushions in white with gray piping.
